I actually bought this an emergency for HEAT as I live in Alice Springs and do lots of desert trips for work. Even though they don’t advertise it like that I had a theory that if you invert it it will also keep heat OUT! and of course it does. So for desert conditions where it gets both very hot and very cold, and given the size of it (about 2 cigarette packets) you’d be crazy not to keep on one in the vehicle for remote breakdowns.
