The magnesium is soft enough to scrape enough off quickly. So often the magnesium is too hard and you can’t get enough to ignite quickly.

The only buyer's regret you'll suffer is not buying two of them. July 28, 2020Saw plenty of video reviews on the Silky 240, and it definitely lives up to its reputation. Razor sharp teeth, that cuts logs like butter. My delivery took a bit longer to arrive, because they ran out of stock. However, Elite Outdoor Gear was quick to notify me about the situation. July 28, 2020Upgraded to this after my old P7 got done in by leaky batteries. Can not fault it. Magnetic charging base is so convenient. The torch itself is tough & robust - it can take a hit or a good drop & it’s the perfect size. And light output is, well... you can never have too much light. Awesome torch, highly recommended. -
