The Silva Scout 2X can produce a maximum output of 300 lumens, to a beam distance of 60 metres, and offers an additional red light mode that preserves night vision, as well as a battery level indicator and large on/off button. Powered by 3AAA batteries (which are easily accessible), it can provide a runtime of up to 70 hours in low mode. The Scout 2X uses Silva Intelligent Light which is a light beam technology that optimises the light pattern; giving less head movements, better control and improved balance by combining long reach spot light and close flood light. This headlamp has a comfortable fit with its low weight of 84g, and wide, anti-slip headband. Scout 2X is a great companion for runners, hikers, and campers.
