Vosteed Nightshade – 3.26″ Stonewashed Elmax Blade, Black Micarta Handle with Brass Bolsters, Liner Lock – NSK002

Inspired by the traditional Shilin Cutter and Kukri, the Vosteed Nightshade is a modern interpretation of the time-honoured ethnic designs.

It features a full-flat grind and a wide full-bellied plain cutting edge, with a purposefully designed low blade tip position and extra blade width, for outstanding cutting and slicing performance. The blade cutting edge drops downward creating a negative blade angle, which makes the blade cutting edge lower than the user’s index finger so that the wrist is in alignment, providing ergonomics, requiring less pressure to be applied by the wrist. 

Equiped with caged ceramic ball bearings, the Nightshade can be smoothly deployed with both a back flipper and thumbhole, and a fine-tuned detent provides a snappy action. Subtle milling on the lock release bar and extra room for disengaging the lock allow for even large hands to comfortably disengage the liner lock. The contoured and curved handles are ergonomic, and provide secure control in slippery conditions, and the titanium deep-carry pocket clip is not only durable, rust-free, and lightweight, but it also provides a sleek and low-profile look

This model boasts a blade crafted from Bohler Elmax steel, a high-end stainless steel, which is known for its excellent edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance. The black micarta handle features aesthetically-pleasing brass bolsters.
