Silent Generators are fast becoming the ideal all in one power station for campers, adventurers and simple backup power solutions. from being capable enough to run a small fridge power laptops and phone everything to get you through a black out or away from power for an extended period of time.

The new lithium yeti range from Goal Zero has redesigned the generator and proving that you don’t need a bulky diesel powered generator to get you though a camping trip or a power outage. These silent generators can do a lot for such a small package whilst still emitting no harmful fumes. The first benefit of the lithium batteries inside is longevity. Lithium batteries can handle 1200 cycles before the capacity is diminished. Even if you used it daily, it will continue to work for many years. Lithium also holds its charge for a long time. You can charge it up and it will hold that single charge for over 6 months. Lead acid only lasts about 400 cycles, and will self-drain within 30 days.

As well as being more efficient they are also a lot more compact and lighter. Now the yeti 400 Lithium  is only 7.4kg far lighter than the lead acid version of 13.2kg which is great news if you are wanting that amount of power but a scarce on space.

All this information can be quite hard to grasp if you don’t know how much power any of your devices will need. This table is a ruff outline of how many charges you will get out of a single charge of the yeti. Remember this is a guide and will not be applicable to every type of device.
